Meet Scott
Scott was the Global Director of Product Innovation for VF Corporation/Dickies, LLC (NYSE: VFC) where he directed global innovation strategy that included aligning US, Asia, and European teams; fiber and fabric development; collaborations with industry leading technology partners; and commercialization of new products across Men's, Women's, and Kid's consumer segments. Responsibilities also included setting the 3-to-5-year innovation vision to ensure a pipeline of projects and incorporating them into the seasonal GTM development calendar. Scott was also the corporate sustainability liaison for the brand and drove sustainability across the brand.
Increasing the fabric acumen and mentoring of brand associates and departments in the details of fabric manufacturing was a joy for Scott. During his 18 years at Dickies, he also served as Global Director of Fabric Development, Raw Material (fabric & trim) Purchasing, and Technical Development.
Prior to his brand experience at VF/Dickies, Scott had a 20-year career at Milliken & Company, a large global textile and chemical manufacturing company where he held numerous positions of increased levels of responsibility and diversity in manufacturing, new product development, quality, and innovation which included 3 published patents.
His broad textile and development foundation and demonstrated leadership positions him well to collaborate, communicate, and execute brand vision, development, and innovation strategies across multifunctional areas from entry level to C-Suite/CEO.
